Little Victories.

When we went to the Dumez building last weekend, we had a good laugh.   Parking was the reason.  This is how the experience went.
We arrived at the church and found that the large gate which allow cars to enter the very small parking area were locked. Nobody in the branch has a car, so why would they open it.
So, we sat in the very short driveway for at least five minutes waiting for somebody to find the key and unlock the gate to get into the one car parking lot.
It was necessary to back into the parking lot, since exiting up the tiny sloping driveway and backing onto the busy street was an impossibility.  Once the gate was unlocked it was time to back in.

The problem with that was that when going back, the distance between the gates and the wall of the building wasn't as long as the car. It took a lot of little back and forth turns to maneuver the car around the gate and into the parking. Brent loves a driving challenge and with branch members looking on he persisted.  Finally...

He not only got into the parking lot, but made a one car parking lot into a two car parking lot.  Life's little victories can be fun!!! And pretty funny!
